The Interpreter was created using RPG Maker MZ and enhanced with 3D-rendered cinematic sequences, pushing the engine’s visual and narrative capabilities beyond expectations.
The game blends simple mechanics with layered storytelling, moral choice, and thematic depth — offering an experience that unfolds differently depending on your interpretation of the world.

Synopsis

Once, words held power.

People once shaped reality with language — wishes spoken into existence, emotions turned into light and fire. But after a devastating magical event known as The First Silence, the power of speech was sealed by an ancient spell.

Now, no one can speak... but thoughts remain.

You play as the Interpreter, a traveler who can perceive the unspoken — fragments of inner voices still echoing within the cursed.
As you walk the silent streets of the capital, you encounter those shaped by the loss of language: a proud princess, a hollow soldier, a laughing liar, and others — each struggling to make peace with the words they can no longer say.

Your presence draws out their thoughts.
Your understanding defines their reality.
